This practical course provides the student with an introduction to the requirements of operating a small business. Topics covered include opportunities and challenges faced by small businesses, evaluating business opportunities, risk assessment, and development of a business plan.

This course teaches you all about digital cameras, from DSLRs to smart phone cameras and what different equipment is used for.

This course teaches you the fundamentals of writing effective business documents for internal and external audiences, including emails, proposals, business plans, business cases, reports, slide decks and content for the web.

The goal of this course is to help current and future caregivers improve personally and professionally, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to provide high quality care in a community setting.

You will learn the fundamentals of producing quality furniture, cabinets and architectural millwork. This program also incorporates a co-op term where you will gain experience putting your skills to the test in a real world production facility or shop.  

This program will give graduates sufficient skills to enable them to communicate, at a basic level, with members of the Deaf Community in a variety of situations.

This course explores the foundational principles of instructional design including learning theories and pedagogical models that are commonly used in the instructional design process.
