The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) course is the first step on your healthcare path. The course is required for entrance into many Emily Griffith Health-Care programs and most healthcare settings.
Our Cosmetology program will give you hands-on experience with haircutting, hairstyling, coloring, chemical relaxers, facial treatments, nail services, make-up techniques and more. Our full or part-time program allows you to take classes to better fit your schedule.
Our Welding 1 program will give you hands-on experience in key welding processes, including gas metal arc welding, thermal cutting processes, shielded metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding and oxy fuel cutting and welding.
Our hybrid program will give you hands-on experience building and maintaining all types of heating and refrigeration systems in our state-of-the-art learning laboratory. You will gain skills in working with electrical control components, as well as in piping and fabrication.
Our Computer Networking program will give you hands-on experience implementing, configuring and troubleshooting basic networking hardware, protocols and services. You will gain hands-on knowledge with network implementation and security practices.
In an apprenticeship program like plumbing, you’ll gain experience through on-the-job training and coursework provided by apprenticeship partners. Plumber apprenticeship programs typically last four to five years.
Learn advanced massage techniques including prenatal massage, cupping, and hot stone massage. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in workshops with massage professionals and attend a variety of field trips, including a human cadaver lab!
Our program utilizes both a classroom teaching environment and a 300-hour clinical internship in a real dental environment to help you develop skills in conducting chair-side procedures, radiology and X-rays, patient education, infection control and laboratory work.
