COURSES OFFERED BY SOTARIS WORK PLACE SAFETY

OSHA 10 or 30 hour Construction training can be provided at our location or yours. Periodically we will host open enrollment classes that will be posted here. If program is hosted at your location we can tailor the courses to fit your specific work environment and hazards.

Training is provided for the Authorized Person level, we can also provide training for the affected personnel. This training typically includes classroom and hands-on activities to ensure the lockout process and procedures are properly understood by attendees.

There is a requirement within NFPA 70E and OSHA to ensure that the Qualified Persons have received training to identify the hazards and reduce the associated risk.

Training is provided to ensure the user of the Fall protection equipment knows how to use and inspect the equipment properly.

The training for persons involved in Permit-Required Confined Space Entry is focused on ensuring the attendees understand the hazards of the spaces and how to remediate or control those hazards prior to entry.

The training we provide consists of a combination of formal instruction (e.g., lecture, discussion, written material), practical training (demonstrations performed by the trainer and practical exercises performed by the trainee), and evaluation of the operator's performance out in the workplace.

Aerial lifts such as scissor lifts, articulating boom lifts and similar type equipment are known as MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms). Per the ANSI A92 standards operators are required to receive training on proper use of the equipment.
