This four hour session provides guidance on identifying asbestos containing materials, understanding the risks posed by asbestos and how to manage and work safely in areas where asbestos may be suspected or confirmed.
All persons who are required to wear breathing apparatus for part of their job, because they are working in a confined space with hazardous gases /vapours, on an oxygen deficient atmosphere or for other applications requiring the wearing of breathing apparatus.
The Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (BFSR) says General Evacuation Instruction must be provided to all workers within 2 days of them starting, and renewed every 12 months.
This training course will provide employees with the knowledge and skill to act as Emergency Wardens in the workplace. Emergency Wardens are also referred to as Fire Wardens, Building Wardens or Evacuation Coordination Instructors.
