Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry

This course is only available for operators who can provide verifiable evidence of operational experience. Current WZTM operators are required to complete this Refresher course in order to maintain their accreditation to conduct WZTM in SA.

To provide the participants with the base skills and knowledge to undertake Basic Scaffolding Activities at work in accordance with Safe Work Australia's National Standard for Person Performing High Risk Work (2006).

To provide the participant with the skills and knowledge to undertake Basic Rigging activities in accordance with Safe Work Australia’s National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.

To provide learners with the skills and knowledge to undertake safe working practices when working at heights in the resources and infrastructure industries. It applies to those working in operational roles.

This SafeWork SA approved course provides elected HSRs with the first level training to operate as a HSR in the workplace and provides evidence of training to be registered with SafeWork SA.
