COURSES OFFERED BY SAFETY TRAINING & CONSULTING

The OSHA 10 Hour Construction Standards program is intended to improve the general level of knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards and how they are applied in the Construction Industry. This program provides a full overview of the most commonly encountered OSHA standards for construction.

The Trench Safety Competent Person program trains employees on the OSHA Excavations Standard, Subpart P CFR 1910.

The Welding, Cutting & Brazing program trains employees on OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart Q.

This program trains employees on 29 CFR 1910.1200 Hazard Communication (HazCom) regulations. The standard requires the annual refresher training of employees.

The Control of Hazardous Energy training program, also known as “Lockout/Tagout”, trains employees on 29 CFR 1910.147 Control of Hazardous Energy (LOTO). This highly important safety training instructs attendees on the types of and procedures required to prevent injury from stored energy.

This course is designed for persons that will have responsibility for fall hazard identification, designating corrective measures, fall hazard surveys, selection and purchase of fall protection equipment. The program details how inspections of equipment is conducted and documented.

The 8 hour Confined Space program trains employees on the hazards and procedures of performing a confined space entry in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.146.

The 4-hour Respiratory Protection program is designed to satisfy the annual training and fit testing requirements required by OSHA for respirator users. The program content is customized to the specific respirators in use at your facility.

The 4-hour Defensive Driving course is a presentation based on the National Safety Council- Self Guided Defensive Driving Program.

The 8-hour Rigging and Material Handling course trains employees on the hazards and procedures of performing rigging operations for material handling. Several OSHA and ANSI documents are used in this class.
