In this workshop you’ll learn how to design, sculpt, and fire your own jewelry using Precious Metal Clay (PMC).  PMC is a clay form similar to the texture and feel of natural clay, but containing very fine particles of silver.

Forget about setting your stones in castings, cast the stones in place instead! We will carve a ring from wax and you’ll learn how to carefully heat your stones to create the setting in your wax model to be cast in place.

The class offers complete instruction – we assist with the design process, fabrication process, choice of metals, different polishes such as a brushed finish, or hammered finish or high polish, and potential for having stones set in the ring (additional) if desired.

Jewelry Designing workshop is offered by Fitz Gerald Jewelry for all skill level.  Classes can be based on our curriculum or can be tailored to techniques that interested you. 

Prospective students across skill levels are invited to join our Adult Ceramics courses, in which burgeoning potters are introduced to the foundations of the medium—from using a pottery wheel to hand-sculpting and glazing.

Drawing class is offered by Manny Cantor Center for all skill level. All courses are open to students of all levels and instructors will support students in completing unique projects throughout the term.
