This two-day course will provide the student with the needed knowledge and skills to comply with OSHA’s HAZWOPER 29 CFR 1910.120(q) requirements requiring a Safety Officer to be assigned at every hazmat incident.

Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area.

This course is designed for general industry and construction supervisors, managers, and safety personnel to provide them with knowledge and skills necessary for safe crane operations.

This three-day, 24-hour course is designed to provide the student with the basic knowledge and techniques required 1) for personnel responding proactively to hazardous material spills in an industrial setting, and 2) by OSHA for demonstrated competency at the Hazmat Technician Level under 29.
