The Asbestos Awareness course is a detailed introduction to this hazardous substance. Students who study this course will learn how to recognise asbestos, the dangers and long term health risks as well as how to carry out a detailed risk assessment to identify and reduce the risk of exposure.

In this course you will learn what legionella is, why it is important to control it and what you can do as a duty holder (building manager, owner or landlord) to identify and reduce the risks associated with this pathogen.

Within this COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) training you will learn in detail about the risks that may be present in the hospitality industry, and specifically in relation to hazardous substances.

The course covers the essentials of fire safety. This includes understanding what causes fire and what accelerates the spread of fire. It also explores how to prevent fire but what to do should a fire happen to break out.

This course is ideal if you work in an office environment and most of your duties involves computers, laptops or mobile devices such as tablets or Smartphones.
