COURSES OFFERED BY LA FIRE CARD

Designed for healthcare professionals and the general public. Meets los angeles county healthcare facility requirements. Card is valid for four (4) years and issued at the end of the class.

Heartsaver® First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive.

ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED etc.

LA Fire Card offers both the Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) and Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) classes for healthcare professionals in California. We are certified by the American Crisis Prevention and Management Association (ACPMA).
