COURSES OFFERED BY MUSICAL BEGINNINGS MUSIC SCHOOL

Welcome! We’re happy to be offering in-person private lessons and classes, as well as continuing online instruction for those who prefer it

Our string program includes beginning through advanced violin lessons. Students are taught in individual 30-minute weekly lessons, which can expand to 45- or 60-minute lessons as the student becomes more advanced.

Our keyboard/piano lessons are an excellent way to get started with music. For young students, the layout of a piano keyboard is well-suited to little hands and lends itself to the understanding of theory.

Our string program includes beginning through advanced viola lessons. Students are taught in individual 30-minute weekly lessons, which can expand to 45- or 60-minute lessons as the student becomes more advanced. 

We offer singing for all ages. Our youngest students (ages 3-6) develop their singing voices in our Young Child classes. For ages 7-14, we offer Intro to Singing, and Group Voice Lessons  that introduce technique, repertoire and performance in a fun and encouraging group environment.

We teach several styles of guitar, from classical to pop, jazz and rock. We encourage a blend of learning chords from favorite songs while also spending time on note reading.

We offer ukulele instruction either on its own for 30 minutes a week or as part of a Sing & Strum curriculum in 45- or 60-minute lessons, which can also be taken with a friend or family member.
