Studio A Dance offers a total of 6 courses.
Jazz class consists of an energetic standing warm-up followed by plies (which interprets into a slow, lyrical dance), then upbeat stretching and strengthening while lying on the floor.Â
This aerobics/dance class averages 5400 steps (of various kinds) within an hour's time. Now that's working your buns off! During this period I take participants on a ride of fast moving, easy-to-follow jazz, salsa and funk steps.
During the hour, we also stand for additional stretching and balancing. Here, we make great discoveries– including our center of gravity.
In order to create a positive, inquisitive and highly focused learning environment, I honor each student’s physical individuality and unique learning process.
Although a beginner's class, approval from Sarah is needed before joining this class.Â
