Spanish Tapas Cooking class is offered by Chef Jo anna. Learn to cook with patient guidance from a professional chef! All skill levels and all dietary requirements can be accommodated.
We'll make Danish, croissants and more using home-made & frozen doughs. We'll have an assortment of fillings you can choose to make, including jam, chocolate, berries, cream cheese, and some interesting ingredients I hope will become new favorites.
We'll make these delicious dumplings that are pan-fried until brown on three sides, then steamed in a small amount of liquid. Several different folding techniques will be taught in class! These are served with dipping sauces - and we'll make those, too!
This class features: Home-made linguini and/or ravioli with herbed ricotta filling and traditional "Sunday Gravy" tomato sauce, which can be made with or without meat. This special class is only featured once every few weeks!
You can choose the protein: Chicken, Pork or Tofu, to cook up healthier than restaurants make. You can also choose your veggies, such as carrots, onions, celery, peppers, snow peas, mushrooms, pineapple and more. We'll make a simple but delicious sweet and sour sauce (from scratch!).
Satay (or saté if you prefer) is a super fun party food. If you've got picky eaters, then Gado Gado is a salad that everyone can enjoy! You can make it with any proteins you like, (chicken, pork, steak, eggs, tofu, tempeh) and all the veggies you can handle.
