COURSES OFFERED BY KRISTY'S DANCE FUSION

This class is a high energy class in which feet become musical instruments. Tapping rhythms are set to all different eras of music from the classic to the trendy drum beats of today’s tap style.

Our jazz classes combine technique and style. An emphasis will be placed on proper alignment during steps; body conditioning, flexibility, and quick thinking are all thrown into the mix. Steps are combined in traveling combinations across the room and centre floor.

Our ballet instructors work to develop proper and safe technique and body alignment while encouraging each student to find the creativity and story telling in their movements. Ballet classes will provide your child with a strong foundation to compliment the rest of their classes.

Lyrical requires the dancer to express themselves through their body. Young dancers aspire to take their turn in Lyrical. Lovely to watch and rewarding to perform.

Dancers must have a strong background in technical dance such as ballet and jazz as contemporary borrows movements from these formal genres. Modern elements are added to contemporary choreography such as torso contractions, floor work, and improvisation.

Steps will be put together in combinations that the dancers add on to each week. Style will develop as the dancers feel free to express themselves. The steps are set to popular music (clean versions) that they listen to everyday!

To master an acro trick students must develop a good foundation of strength and flexibility, thus emphasis is placed on extensive conditioning involving stretch and strength training.

Our Adult classes will leave you feeling like you have been challenged and have had a great workout. Beginner level Adult classes will cover new work slowly and allow time for asking questions. Fun and Fitness is the focus.

Musical theatre classes involve the students taking on a character and portraying that character through song and dance. Both vocals and lip syncing take place in class, supported by Jazz technique.

Our Creative Dance class is a 30 minute class, once a week for energetic 3 and 4 year olds. This class combines jazz fundamentals with ballet technique and allows your child to learn dance through story telling and imagination.
