The CERT program educates area residents about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their community and trains them in basic disaster response skills. The training includes the following 6 modules and 1 disaster simulation.
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program offered by the Redmond Police Department trains you in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
In addition to CERT training, NEMCo also provides a number of shorter emergency preparedness seminars and workshops throughout the year.
Fire and EMS Operations training is offered by Shoreline Fire Department. Shoreline Fire’s Education Division provides classes tailored to your needs!
Shoreline Fire Department offers American Heart Association adult, infant and child CPR. These AHA Heartsaver classes will be held throughout the year. There is a $50.00 charge for all students.
This one-hour class provides both classroom time and hands-on training in fire extinguisher identification, maintenance, and use.

If you are looking for a more basic, non-certification class, we also offer Friends & Family CPR and First Aid training. The CPR taught in this course is hands-only (no breaths), can be customized to your audience, and is ideal for training community groups, parents, grandparents, and the like.

Our CPR / AED session is designed to provide the fundamental skills and confidence needed to perform CPR on an adult, child, or infant. Participants learn how to recognize and alleviate airway obstructions, properly use an AED (automatic external defibrillator), and the signs.
