COURSES OFFERED BY MIX COOKING SCHOOL

We'll learn to make a classic, fast-rise yeast dough from scratch...mix it, work it, rise it quickly!  Then we'll roll it and learn to create rich, delicious, gooey warm fresh cinnamon rolls with brown sugar filling.  We'll make awesome cream cheese icing to load on top.  

Kids 8-12 years old can spend every morning with us this week learning to make all kinds of delicious baked goods, including cinnamon rolls, cake pops and even French Macarons!  Kids will prepare ingredients, and do hands-on prep to make different delicious baked goods each day.  

Learn to make a Greek Classics with Shawn ProutyShawn's father’s family came to the US from Greece and along with great food came great laughter!  

Fresh pasta is fun and so very satisfying to make. And dry box pasta can’t compare to the light, silky rich pasta made by hand. We’ll make beautiful classic egg pasta, and share techniques using the KitchenAid stand mixer with pasta attachments.

Tamales are delicious at all times of the year!  We are so excited to offer another Tamales Workshop, featuring instructor Christina Amparan.  

Instructor Shawn Prouty will share her Cuban family recipes for these delicious meat pies!  Every culture has their version of 'hand pies' and Cubans make one that's spicy and delicious!

Hands-on 2-hour Workshop  Love, love, love those little heavenly pillows.  Gnocchi is a true comfort food, and fun and easy to make.  We'll make two kinds of fresh gnocchi and  simple sauces...eat some at Mix and take a bunch home for later!
