The Hot Stove team is happy to announce that our monthly Dim Sum class is back! Each session will have one hands on recipe and the other tasty treats will be demonstrated.

Ring in the year of the rabbit with vegetarian momos (a Tibetan dumpling), egg rolls, and spicy mapo tofu. This class is filled with knife skills, dough making, and dumpling shaping and will be fun for novice cooks and experts alike.

Learn making your favorite dim sum dishes, Steamed buns and pot stickers. We will make Steamed buns from scratch. We will use store bought wrappers for pot stickers. Students will learn making dough for steamed buns. We use pork and beef with vegetables for the filling.

Soup Sampler class is offered by Cooking By Ivette. Potato Leek and Savory Tomato Soup with Homemade Croutons, Spinach Pear and Pecan Salad, and Chocolate Devil’s Food Cake with a Buttercream Icing – includes wine pairing.

Learn to make Chinese dumplings! In this workshop, students will make homemade dumpling wrappers AND two types of fillings, vegetable and pork.  Students will learn to fill, pleat, pan fry, and steam dumplings. Just in time to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year!

Learn to make your own dumplings and indulge in Taiwanese-American cuisine! You will learn how to fold and stuff dumplings from the master herself, Patty Chen. She will teach you all the tips and tricks you need to know to make mouthwatering dumplings at home!

It’s soup season! We will learn how to create 3 different types of soup that you can turn into thousands of soups at home using the blended, broth, and tomato base soups in this class.

We'll make these delicious dumplings that are pan-fried until brown on three sides, then steamed in a small amount of liquid. Several different folding techniques will be taught in class! These are served with dipping sauces - and we'll make those, too!

Dumplings variations are found in all cuisines. They can be eaten as an entrée or as an appetizers. In this class we will make two different kinds of dumplings; soup dumplings and shu-mei (shrimp and pork) dumplings.

Dim Sum - aka Chinese tapas! We will make these tasty treats and sample as a group. These small bites are full of flavor and personality.
